Below you'll find a collection of textmode/pixel fonts that have been tested and work well with p5.asciify. All listed fonts are free for personal use. Make sure to check the respective licenses for other usage!
If you discover a font that works particularly well with p5.asciify, please consider sharing it with the community! You can also create a pull request to the fonts.json file to add it to the list.
The order of fonts is determined randomly each time the page is loaded, so you may see different fonts at the top of the list each time you visit. This is done to give equal visibility to all fonts and to encourage exploration.
BESCII
8×8 monospaced PETSCII-inspired font for BASIC Engine, supporting Western European, Greek, Cyrillic, kana, PETSCII, CPC 464, legacy computing, and pixel-art glyphs.
UrsaFont
8x8 monospaced ANSI-inspired font for text art and games, with regular and inverted variants.
ATASCII
